What bring you to sl?
In january 2007 i saw a docu on tv about Sl and i decided to give this a try,
result, it has been over a year and i’m still here.
What turn you to expose in sl?
Staying longer in this game made me realize this is a place where you can do
whatever you like to do, things you cannot achive in rl you can do here, and
so i gave it a try with my rl art with good result.
How you discribe your art?
My art is the very classical style, i love to paint realistic, touched with my
own view of things.
What kind of materials do you use in you art?
My medium is watercolor.
Do you insert in some kind of Artistic movement?
No not really, i guess it is my style; i can only paint my way, no influence of
other periods.
What were your steps in sl? Place that you expose, do you have a gallery? (if
so where is located)
A dear friend of mine had talked to Mar Dwi, galleryowner of a smal gallery back
in June , he came over to my SL home to look at my art and there, in July i
had my first expo.
I have a cornergallery in SLACC, Second Life Art Community Center, owned by the same Mar Dwi
Are you an real life artist or just in SL?
I am a reallife artist.
When you start painting?
I guess i’ve been painting my whole life, but seriously, watercolour is my
dada since 1998.
Do you represent you real life art in SL?
Yes what you see here is my real life artwork.
Do you have any kind of formation in artistic field in real life or you just
painting because you like?
I have to paint, it is a part of my life as eating, drinking, i just love it, i
cannot imagine a world without me painting.
What your steps as an artist in real life?
I did many things, Batik , Ceramics, I painted in oil, but i could not enchant me, it was too
heavy , i needed transparence in my art, and watercolour is the perfect
medium.
How do you face the art in SL?
Some art is great, and i respect those who bring their Reallife art here in SL, some are of real high standard quality.
I’m not so crazy bout the SL-art , i cannot see it as real art, although some
present nice things. and now i get all those artist on me hahaha….
Do you think that SL artists face difficulties? If so, what kind?
Protection of their own art, copyright so to say.
What do you think that should be change in this world of art in SL? What
kind of proposals woud you do?
It would be nice if us artists could have a place, or more then one, to hang
out art for free. A huge artcenter.A place in SL to go to for ever artlover in SL.
Do you have plans for your future art in SL?
As i told you, i’m going to walk new paths in hte near futur, and so my art
will become more diverse, i’m going to paint some Acryllics, but in a different style.
