What bring you to sl?

What turn you to expose in sl?
To make contacts and create new businesses
How you discribe your art?
Art designed to amuse, entertain and enlighten through humor.
What kind of materials do you use in you art?
The techniques for the paintings: I draw by hand the line work. I paint a goauche texture background and i merge the two in photoshop. The sizes are typically small. Maybe 8.5 x 11 inches
Do you insert in some kind of Artistic movement?
A conceptual approach where the art starts as an idea and ends with a new image.
What were your steps in sl? Place that you expose, do you have a gallery? (if so where is located)
My first steps were to look up artists in the classified section under search. I would talk to them for info. Then i would contact gallery owners and show work to arrange shows.

Real life artist for 28 years.
When you start painting?
In 1980.
Do you represent you real life art in SL?
Yes.
Do you have any kind of formation in artistic field in real life or you just painting because you like?
I am a professional illustrator in the commissioned and licensing marketplaces.
What your steps as an artist in real life?
Promotion promotion promotion to get work. To develop work, I draw everyday to get ideas and keep my hand and eye coordinated.
How do you face the art in SL?
I havent had time to digest SL into my art.
Do you think that SL artists face difficulties?
Yes. Copyright infringement (stealing) is a problem. Also, pricing of art is very low. It is a new market that needs to develop.
What do you think that should be change in this world of art in SL? What kind of proposals woud you do?
For copyright protection, i would develop standard scripting that can protect artwork and track its life.
Do you have plans for your future art in SL?
I am looking forward to see how SL effects my art in SL and RL.

Not for SL.

Just visited Rag’s exhibit in Artopolis… fantastic!
Yes! It’s true, I care alot about Real life art and Sl art. If I can promove artists, why not? Art is my passion! I make this questionnaires, to try to promote the artists. So people in rl can see that artist people work hard in Real life and in Second Life.
